Jamaica Blue has officially opened at Prince of Wales Private Hospital, in the heart of Randwick! We’re excited to reveal this brand-new store, located on Level 7 with a cosy dining space and large glass windows with views of Sydney’s east.
Recently ranked as one of Australia’s top private hospitals in 2023 in Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals rankings, we’re proud to be serving at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. The hospital is also known as one of the state’s premier maternity hospitals, caring for more than 2,000 expectant parents every year. On October 1st, 1992 at Miranda Westfield, we opened our first Jamaica Blue café.
In the early 90’s specialty coffee had just hit Australian shores and it was then, Westfield had asked us to develop an espresso bar to feature in their shopping centres.

Kiunyu Factory is located in Ngariama Location , Kirinyaga County.
Kirinyaga County sits at the foothills of Mount Kenya, some 112km from Nairobi and borders Embu County to the east, Machakos County to the south, Murang’a County to south west and Nyeri County to the west.
The county is named after Mount Kenya, which is known to the locals as Kirinyaga, meaning the crest of whiteness, synonymous with its snow-capped peaks.
The factory is part of the Karithathi Farmers Cooperative Society which was established in the 1960’s, now with 1,600 active farmer members.
The processing method
The farmers coffee cherries are closely monitored and when ripe and red, handpicked early in the morning and delivered to the factory.
The cherries are then sorted and depulped, graded and washed in channels before being spread evenly on raised beds for 7-15 days, whilst being turned regularly to dry under careful supervision.
Many of the farmers also grow tea as the deep fertile and well-drained soil is ideal for both coffee and tea production.
With a sophisticated & silky mouthfeel, featuring sugary caramel notes balanced by bright citrus acidity, this coffee has all the flavours we have come to expect from high quality Kenyan coffee.

ACCESSORISE YOUR SOCIALS WITH THE BLUE LATTE – A DELICIOUS HOT CHOCOLATE MADE WITH WHITE CHOCOLATE AND BLUE CURACAO
Calling all trend-setters, fashionistas, and brightest crayons in the box – the Blue Latte is this season’s hottest new fad. It’s a Jaffa-flavoured hot drink concoction that’s coming to a Jamaica Blue near you for just over two weeks from July 6.
This delicious steaming hot drink is a hot chocolate at its heart, but to make it as special as you are, we’re using a white chocolate base, and adding a hit of blue curacao syrup to give it a vibrant colour to add plenty of pizzazz to your social media stories and your day.
Our Blue Latte’s get their unique colour and delicious Jaffa flavour from blue curacao syrup, which when combined with white chocolate decadence powder and your choice of milk, creates a velvety caffeine-free winter treat. Blue Curacao traditionally is made from the dried peel of the Laraha citrus fruit, grown on the southern Caribbean island of Curacao.
Monin blue curacao syrup takes inspiration from these origins, providing an alcohol-free alternative that features orange extract sourced from around the world. This slight citrus tang works perfectly with the creamy white chocolate for a wonderful warm treat that will make you forget all about the rain and wind outside. As with all our hot drink options, you can choose from full-cream milk, skim milk, almond, or soy.
The idea behind the Blue Latte is to celebrate creativity and fun, grab attention, to encourage self-expression and dare to be a little different. A new Jamaica Blue Grab N Go concept store has opened in New Zealand! The store opened on Saturday 7th of April, at the newly opened Manukau Bus Station in Auckland, New Zealand.
The store’s delicious Grab N Go menu items are displayed in an open fronted cabinet as the store was designed to operate in a high footfall environment.
Jamaica Blue Manukau Bus Station will be offering some of our new Winter menu items including our Mini Carrot & Chorizo Loaves, Roasted Pumpkin, Chickpea & Dukkah Bowl and Bacon & Egg Chipotle Roll.
The store is open Monday to Friday from 6:00am – 6:00pm & Saturday to Sunday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.
