CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
What is Jamaica Blue doing regarding the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

Jamaica Blue has always had strict hygiene practices and cleanliness standards in our café. In light of Coronavirus (COVID-19) we have implemented additional precautionary measures including:

1) Retraining all our team members and prepped them on increased hygiene and food safety standards. This includes regular handwashing, robust cleaning and sanitation schedules of all surfaces and equipment during storage, preparation and display of food, and barriers such as gloves and tongs are used for all ready to eat foods to minimise handling.

2) We’re requesting customers to hold the lid on reusables and handing over only the cup for refilling.

3) We’ve requested that if any team member feels unwell, that they remain at home and we encourage our customers to do the same.

4) We’ve established a dedicated team within the business to consider further steps we can take to ensure that the health and safety of our customers and team members come first.

LOYALTY
I have accumulated over 30 points yet my points balance displays less than 30 or zero?

Every time your account reaches 30 points this is converted into a small complimentary coffee offer, so you will never have more than 29 points at any one time.

Where do I find my Crew card’s verification code?

The verification code is located on the back of your loyalty card. Underneath ‘Crew No.’

Can I use the same email for more than one Crew account?

No, only one account can be registered per email address. You will be unable to register a second account to an email address so please get in touch if you require assistance.

When will I receive my complimentary slice of cake?

The birthday cake offer is awarded to registered Jamaica Blue Crew customers. This offer is valid for the full calendar month of your registered birthday. This becomes visible on your account once the member barcode is scanned in store during that time. Please ensure that your Crew card number matches the one on your birthday email reminder.

I received an email for a complimentary slice of cake, yet I couldn’t redeem this in store?

This could be that this offer has expired (it is only valid for your registered birthday calendar month) or that you registered an older card and have yet to register your new card. Please get in touch with us and we can transfer your details from your old card to your new card so that you can access your birthday reward.

I didn’t receive my birthday reward email!

Not to worry. Sometimes the birthday reward email will go into your spam or junk folders. You can still head to any Jamaica Blue and redeem your reward as the email is only a reminder.

What type of cake can I redeem as my birthday reward?

When you redeem your birthday reward you can choose any sweet item from the cabinet including a slice of cake, a muffin or brownie.

How many free coffee rewards can I redeem in a single transaction?

You can redeem as many free coffees as you like in a single transaction. That means if you have 1, 2 or even 3 free coffees on your Crew card you can redeem all of them at once. How great is that!

What do I do if I have lost my card or my card is broken?

Please head into your local Jamaica Blue store and pick up a new card. If your account was registered, please email customerservice@jamaicablue.com.au with your new Crew card number and verification code, as well as the email address you registered with, and our customer service team can transfer any points and details across from your old account to your new card for you.

How do I transfer points from my lost or broken card to my new card?

If you have lost or broken your card and would like to transfer points, please send the new card number and verification code, as well as the email address you registered with, to customerservice@jamaicablue.com.au.
Unfortunately, if your account was not registered and you don’t recall the Crew card number, we won’t be able to perform the transfer.

I haven’t registered my card, can I still use it?

Unregistered cards can still be used in store to accrue points and gain small complimentary coffees. But by registering online, you will receive a complimentary small size hot beverage for registering as well as a slice of birthday cake in the month of your birthday.

Can I use my Jamaica Blue Crew card overseas?

Unfortunately you will not be able to use your Crew card outside of the country where the card was issued as the loyalty programs are separate. You will need to register for a new card overseas.

Will I receive promotional emails if I register?

We will let you know about our great promotions and any member only offers for your local store or the whole network of Jamaica Blue cafés. You can choose to opt out at any point by unsubscribing at the bottom of any of these emails.

Where can I find ingredients and nutritional information?

For information on the ingredients and nutritional content of our products, please refer to our menu here. This information is based on our standard product recipes and variations may occur due to seasonal changes and supplier differences. Please note that any customization to our standard menu items may affect the nutritional content and allergen information provided.

At Jamaica Blue, we take pride in tailoring our menus to the unique tastes of the local communities we operate in. As a result, the ingredients used in our dishes may vary between cafés.

If you have a food allergy, please talk to a member of our team before ordering each time you dine with us.

Do you have gluten free and other allergen-free products?

Our menu contains gluten, milk, tree nuts, and other allergens. Whilst we strive to minimize cross-contamination, in a busy kitchen we cannot guarantee that the food and drinks we prepare freshly on site are allergen-free. If you suffer from allergies, please bear this in mind. For low gluten, vegetarian, or vegan options, check with your local Jamaica Blue café.

Do you offer plant milk alternatives?

Yes, all of our cafés offer soy milk. Check with your local café as to what other plant based milk alternatives they offer.

Do I have to spend the whole value of the Gift Card at once?

No, you don’t need to spend the entire amount on your card all at once. You can shop as often as you like until the balance is used up – and you can even top up the card again when you’ve finished, or as you go. You can top up your Gift Card at any participating cafes.

How long is my Gift Card valid for?

All Gift Cards are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase.

Is there any minimum value to purchase?

You can load the card with any value between $10 and $200.

Can I top up my Gift Card?

Yes – you can top up your Gift Card in store at any participating Jamaica Blue Café (https://jamaicablue.com.au/gift-card-participating-cafes/). When you top up, the validity resets to 36 months.

Can I check the balance left on my Gift Card?

Yes, you can check the remaining value using our balance checker (wwws.givex.com/cws4.0/jamaicablue/check-balance/) or at any participating Jamaica Blue Café (https://jamaicablue.com.au/gift-card-participating-cafes/).

When I have used the full balance, what do I do with the Gift Card?

The Gift Card can be topped up! So, you can reuse it or even gift it to someone else. When you top up, the validity resets to 36 months. However, if the Gift Card has expired, it can’t be reactivated.

What happens when the Gift Card expires?

The Gift Card is valid for 36 months. If the Gift Card has expired, it can’t be reactivated. However, if you top up the Gift Card, the validity resets to 36 months.

What if I lose my Gift Card?

Please treat your Gift Card as cash as it will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

Can I get a refund on my Gift Card?

No, Gift Cards are non-refundable. Please treat your Gift Card as cash.
