Calling Dr Jamaica Blue! New Store Opens in Busy Hospital

A new Jamaica Blue opens this week in the busy John Fawkner Private Hospital in Coburg, Melbourne. Helmed by Nelson Sukarta, formerly a Muffin Break franchisee, the new store is in an optimum position to refresh hospital visitors – and our hard-working doctors, nurses and hospital staff employees.

New Chapter – Same Great Attitude

Nelson loves working with people – and food! Coming from a hospitality and customer service background in hotels and travel, he says he’s looking forward to meeting a new community.

“I’ll miss baking fresh muffins at Muffin Break – but I love the colours and feel of Jamaica Blue! The store designs are stylish.”

 Nelson is also excited to be back helming a business again, in partnership with his wife Agnes. He anticipates working six days a week in the new store, as he did with Muffin Break.

“Usually, I work Monday through Saturday and then spend Sunday with my kids. It’s demanding but I just love the business. However, it’s important to really switch off on Sunday!”
