From 4th September, Jamaica Blue introduces a new premium Single Origin coffee from El Salvador, which has a distinct toasty cocoa flavour that lingers to a delicious almond finish.
Why El Salvador?
Single Origin coffee beans are not your average coffee beans. These are picked by hand on family-run farms, and as the name suggests, only come from one place. Our Single Origin beans are sourced directly from the El Molino de Santa Rita farms, and Jamaica Blue is proud to say that this Single Origin has been Rainforest Alliance Certified™ so you’ll know the coffee beans have been grown and harvested using environmentally and socially responsible practices.
The geography of El Salvador offers mineral-rich volcanic soils, high altitude and plentiful shade that seamlessly combine to create a coffee of exceptional quality and has all kinds of goodness inside.

Coffee tips and food pairings
To really appreciate the rich flavours in a cup of El Salvador Single Origin, we recommend ordering it as an Espresso or Long Black.
Food-wise, there are a number of Jamaica Blue meals that pair well with our new Single Origin. Try a Super Fruit Bowl for something light, a Brownie for something sweet, or a Blueberry Honey Spelt Bar if you’re looking for something small. If you’re after more of a meal, our Bacon & Egg Roll and the Avocado & Halloumi Roll work particularly well with the flavours of this coffee.
