The FCA is the leading organization representing Australia’s $174 billion franchise sector. This vibrant industry boasts over 1,200 franchise networks, more than 94,000 individual franchised outlets, and employs 565,500 Australians across the nation.
National Field Manager of the Year: James Wadsworth
James Wadsworth, our dedicated Franchise Business Coach for Victoria, has been honored with the National Field Manager of the Year award. With a deep passion for franchising, James has spent the last 7 ½ years working tirelessly with franchisees of Muffin Break, Jamaica Blue, and Hudsons to help them grow and succeed. His expertise, commitment, and infectious enthusiasm make him an invaluable asset to the Foodco family.
Foodco’s CEO, Richard Goodman, expressed his admiration, stating, “There couldn’t be a more deserving winner. James is an exceptional Business Coach who goes above and beyond to support our franchisees and the broader business.”
Australian Established Franchisor of the Year: Jamaica Blue
We are also incredibly proud to announce that Jamaica Blue has been named the Australian Established Franchisor of the Year. Since its inception in 1992, Jamaica Blue has blossomed into a premium café brand with a presence in Australia, New Zealand, China, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom, totaling over 160 cafés worldwide.
Reflecting on this achievement, Richard Goodman shared, “Over its 32 years, Jamaica Blue has evolved, grown, and achieved many great things through the commitment of our franchise partners, staff, and owners. This award is a testament to their hard work and dedication.”
