Privacy Collection Notice – Gift cards

1 Who we are

Foodco Holdings Pty Limited ACN 610 909 343, its Related Body Corporate (including Foodco Group Pty Limited, Muffin Break Pty Ltd ACN 007 192 529, Jamaica Blue Pty Limited ACN 059 236 387, Jahnus Pty Limited ACN 094 476 052, Cookhouse Australia Pty Ltd ACN 131 403 382 and Hudfran Pty Ltd ACN 651 438 765 (NZ Foodco New Zealand Limited Company No 583535) collectively referred to as “Foodco Group”.   

In this Privacy Collection Notice, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ refers to Foodco Group.

2 What is in this notice

This notice describes how we collect, hold, use, and share your Personal Information. It includes:

• the kinds of Personal Information we collect;

• the reasons we collect and use that information;

• who we share your information with; and

• how to access our Privacy Policy or contact us about our  privacy practices. You should also read the terms and conditions for the gift card program offered by us.  These terms may contain more information about the ways we collect, hold, use and share personal information for the purchase and redemption of the gift cards including any enquiry you may have in relation to the gift cards.

3 What is Personal Information

Personal Information is any information or an opinion about an identified individual or an individual who can be reasonably be identifiable from an information or opinion. Information or opinion may be Personal Information regardless of whether it is true or recorded in a material form or not. This can include a person’s name, age, gender, residential address and contact details.

4 What information we collect

The gift cards you purchase from us or from our franchisees can be both in physical and /or digital format.

We do not collect your Personal Information about you when you purchase gift cards from us. We however, only collect your Personal Information about you when you make an enquiry with us in relation to your gift card which includes your:

  • first name
  • surname
  • email address; and
  • telephone number

When you purchase a gift card online, your Personal Information is collected by our provider of the gift card services Vii Pty Limited (Vii), a third party service provider. You will need to refer to Vii’s Privacy Policy as to what Personal Information Vii collects from you in relation to your purchase and redemption of your gift cards. 

Your purchase of a gift card online using a credit card is processed by eway gateway (eway), an online payment platform.  You will need to refer to eway’s Privacy Policy and any related policies as to what Personal Information eway collects from you when processing your credit card.    No Personal Information is collected when you purchase a physical gift card.

5 Why is your Personal Information being collected and what we use it for?

We only collect your Personal Information when you make an enquiry with us in relation to your gift card. With the Personal Information you have provided us, we will investigate your enquiry with Vii then contact you with the outcome of the enquiry.

6 What would happen if your Personal Information was not collected?

If you do not provide or if we are unable to collect your Personal Information, or the Personal Information you give us is inaccurate or incomplete, we may not be able to investigate your enquiry in relation to the gift card and contact you with the outcome of the enquiry.

7 Who we share your information with

We will only share your Personal Information with Vii only for the purposes of investigating your enquiry.

8 How to Access to and correct your Personal Information

If you have provided us with incorrect Personal Information while making an enquiry with us relating to your gift card, you can contact us on 1800 622 338 or customerservice@foodco.com.au or please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how to access, make a complaint or request an amendment of your Personal Information.
